The thought of parents leaving their children while they work knowing that they might not be able to communicate everything about their day is nerve racking. But with all my fears and worries that consumed me for weeks before my daughter started, were quickly put aside when my daughter attended St. John's discovery location. The staff became family, from the morning greetings to the hug's goodbyes to her little stories at dinner time. My daughter was happy and her mind was growing. She made friends and learned how to be autonomous. My daughter was thriving. And what more can a mom want! My daughter began searching for her teachers' cars in the parking lot or in the grocery stores when shopping. Knowing that she is in good hands daily makes me keep doing what I have to do with work! I can't say enough good things about discovery and I know my daughter will miss it!!

Since bringing my son to Discovery from the age of 11 months to present (5 years old), we’ve watched him grow in confidence, creativity, and social skills, thanks to the thoughtful and engaging programs offered. Discovery – at St. John de Brebeuf School. As a parent, I entrust my greatest blessings to the staff at Discovery – St John de Brebeuf every day, and I am grateful for the loving care and guidance the twins receive. The teachers and staff look at each child as an individual, with their own strengths and needs. My son has been blessed with awesome teachers who understand his challenges and help him through tough days. They always greet him with a huge smile every morning and are eager to learn new ways to teach him. They include in him all activities and were even able to get him to eat other foods. POPCORN for the win!!! My daughter loves coming in the morning and being Miss Marie’s helper. She loves being able to explore and have fun with crafts and Kinder 2 sure has so many fun activities for them to do. They make it a fun and safe place for them to learn, laugh, and play. Thank you for all the extras you do for my kiddos. You really see the love that each staff member has for the students!!! A BIG THANK YOU FROM THIS MAMA!!!

Discovery St. John De Brebeuf site is a great place to bring your children if in need of before or after school care, or even for daycare and preschool services. The staff is warm and friendly and very professional. They ensure that they are up to date on provincial guidelines as they navigate through the current pandemic. Through the craziness of it all, in adhering to all safety protocols and measures, my children still have so much fun and truly look forward to the fun filled days spent there.

As a parent of 4 children, who have all been through the daycare, preschool and currently are in the before school program, I have nothing but the absolute best to say about the staff at the Discovery St. John De Brebeuf site. Site Manager, Marcia, is very accommodating and works so well with community families. The staff keep parents informed on daily activities through their specialized apps. PD days and themed days are specially planned out and my kids are adamant on attending on those days. Summer camps are also such a special time to send the kids as there are so many wonderful activities planned for the kids to participate in.

I truly can not thank the staff enough for all of their time and attention given to my children, but to every child in their care. I really do feel like they love my kids almost as much as I do.

Discovery is really a wonderful place for exceptional child care service.

Discovery has made our transition into daycare a breeze. My son loves going to daycare & adores the staff. We have been at SJB discovery since my son has been 4 months old and he is now 3. 

The infant room was fantastic! They always updated us in everything my son did and kept his schedule similar to our home schedule. The teachers in that room I cannot explain my gratitude.

 The toddler room to say the least continued to hold our expectations. 

We are now in the preschool room and cannot say one bad thing. 

The daycare staff is fast at replying to messages on bright-wheel. Marcia, the daycare coordinator is on top of everything! She is very responsive to emails, efficient and professional! 

We cannot thank the staff enough for being so kind and good at what they do. We wouldn’t know what to do without them.  SJB Discovery is a daycare that I would recommend 10/10 times.

The Discovery Program is more than just a before and after school program for my daughter. The teachers and staff who run the program go above and beyond in every aspect of the business. The activities for the children are always interactive, educational, and engaging. Kids get plenty of time to play outside and the love that the staff have for their jobs truly shines through in the care the children are provided. The "awe mom, do I have to leave yet?" at pick-up time is consistent. We are lucky to be a part of the Discovery family!
